International College are on a mission to elevate the global mobility of the students of Tzu Chi University. By providing cross-discipline programs, on-line courses and different langue courses to facilitate all students with the global mobility.
First of all, we established two langue centers for elevating the ability of langue, Foreign langue education center (FLEC) facilitates the lectures including not only English but also Spanish, Japanese, Thai, Deutsch, Korean, Vietnamese language. In the curriculum of the center, we provide lectures for preparing proficiency tests such TOEIC and also host tests for students. Chinese langue center (CLC) provided serial Mandarin course in traditional Chinese for students from the other countries and also trained Mandarin teachers.
Foreign langue department, Bachelor program in international service industry management, Bachelor program in digital media technology provide lectures to facilitate students with cross-discipline perspective to increase global motility. MOU for internships with hotels, service agency and Da Ai Television were signed for internship training for students. Scholarships were provided for more than 30% of students under competition. Media production and education center produced News of Tzu Chi University and provide courses, equipment for students to learn media production. Andrews University, Kansas state University, Middlesex University were provided joint dual-degree programs with Tzu Chi University.
